Cromwell Cemetery 2026 Annual Clean Up Day

The Cemetery hosts an annual work party to weed, clean the stones and mow the cemetery the Saturday prior to Memorial Day weekend. The work party is followed by a potluck lunch and annual meeting. It is a slice of Americana that is very special. Everyone is welcome!

The Potluck is back!!!!
Potluck lunch and annual meeting to follow at noon at the Sears Farm across the street.
All are welcome!

You are welcome to clean the cemetery at another time if you prefer. Gates are unlocked, Water is available. Please bring your own garden tools

Please do not put trash on the compost pile.
We are no longer able to burn, so we must have it chipped.

The Harbor History Museum is hosting Buried History: Cromwell Cemetery.

This is a guided tour presented by a staff member from the Harbor History Museum that will provide oral histories of 9 individuals that are buried at the Cemetery.

The tour will prove to be entertaining as well as informative.

Parking will be available in the pasture across the street.

Veterans Day Commemoration with Scout Troop 217

Sunday, November 8th – 9:00 – Scout Troop 217: Veterans Day Commemoration

Scouts from Troop 217 will conduct a flag raising ceremony, followed by cleaning of the graves and placing a flag on each veteran’s grave.

All are welcome to attend.

Remember - Honor - Teach

Please join us as we remember the Veterans in our cemetery and the service they gave to our country with this annual event.

The ceremony begins with a color guard, the playing of taps and a special speaker to be followed by a reading of the names of every Veteran in Cromwell Cemetery. Wreaths will then be placed on the grave of each Veteran.
